The South Okanagan/Similkameen area of British Columbia extends from Summerland and Penticton at the south end of Okanagan Lake south to Osoyoos, just a few kilometers north of the Oroville, WA land border crossing and west to Keremeos and Princeton, BC.
Maybe we’re a little biased, but it’s the most charming, varied and beautiful places on earth. We are 4 hours east from Vancouver through breathtaking scenery, over the Hope-Princeton Highway, also known as the Crowsnest Highway. The southern-most part of the valley ends at the Oroville, WA land border with the US and the drive north to Oliver, Penticton, and Summerland is gorgeous year-round. The Penticton regional airport welcomes guests from all over Canada and connecting international flights from Kelowna international airport.
The City of Penticton and the Okanagan Valley sits on the traditional territory of the Syilx Okanagan people, upon whose traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands we are all grateful to live, work, and gather.
The Similkameen Valley extends north and west from Osoyoos and includes Keremeos, Princeton, and many lovely smaller cities and towns and sits on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Similamix and Smelqmix People.
